VIC Radio is Ithaca College's Indie Alternative Station. I worked as a DJ there during all of my 4 years; I believe it gave me an extensive understanding of the music industry and live radio broadcasting as well as built my confidence on air.
I hosted a weekly shift as well as hosted a specialty show "Closing Time". This show explored the importance and nuance of album track listing across genres. This and my other show "Pop Corner" which ran for 3 semesters prior to this show, were labors of love. I produced and hosted both of them, incorporating a mix of research with personal insights on the songs and their productions.
I have and will always love music, listening to it, sharing it, and understanding the choices made by the artist behind it.
